But I agree, I too am intrigued by the Anne Rice thing, at least since reading your last link on the subject. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. One thing is for sure, even without reading any of her books, I already like her better than Anne Lamont.
You can hear an audio clip of the book at Audible.com. While it may be entertaining, I'm skeptical about how biblically true it will be. In the audio clip, young Jesus is talking about resurrecting birds and bullies or something like that. So it sounds like she's pulling from the Apocrypha -- books often included in Catholic Church teaching; but well-understood nowadays to be false, politically motivated, and written much later than the Gospels.

That would make sense as she is a professing Catholic
